George Brown College Scholarships are available to international students studying in Canada. George Brown College provides international students with numerous awards, scholarships and bursaries that allow them to pursue their academic pursuits successfully. Both full-time and part-time GBC students may apply for these opportunities. Through its Awards program at George Brown College, financial assistance can be given so students may flourish academically.

George Brown College Scholarships Students applying through STU-VIEW by selecting International Center Scholarships will need to be full-time international students in order to be eligible for any of the awards below.

George Brown College Offers Scholarships & Awards to International Students. Below is a listing of these scholarship opportunities for George Brown College International Students.
Assist on Global Service in Canada Ltd. (Kimokran 16 Toronto Inc.) has donated funds for the Assist on Scholarship for International Students in Two-year Programs at George Brown College. This award is open to any registered international students enrolled in two year programs that fall into this category of George Brown College study and their registration year of study for these categories of programs.

To be considered eligible for consideration, applicants must meet certain criteria:

Students must maintain a 3.0 Minimum GPA or higher; be actively engaged with community activities both internal and external to George Brown College; and qualify for the International Centre Student Bursary, available to registered international students of any year and program at George Brown College.

For consideration of an application to this grant program, an applicant must meet these criteria:

Students demonstrating financial need and actively contributing to the community (college or external) must be eligible for consideration of this award. International Student Leadership Award
This award is open to any graduating international student completing their program.

The applicant must fulfill the following criteria in order to be considered:

Student must be an international student with at least a 3.5 GPA and active involvement in both campus and external communities (college/university or otherwise). An International Student ESL Scholarship will be presented annually to an ESL Program student.

To be eligible, applicants must meet these criteria:

Students enrolled in the third module and who have actively engaged with their local communities (college and/or external) must qualify for International Student Scholarship.
International Centre Student Scholarship is available to full time international students of any program and is awarded annually.

For consideration of an application to receive funding, applicants must fulfill certain criteria:

Student must be an international student with financial need, minimum GPA requirement of 2.5 and successfully overcome obstacles in his or her path to academic excellence.
Kimokran 16 Toronto Inc. has provided funds to establish the Kimokran (Toronto) Scholarship for International Students at George Brown College. This award is open to any registered international students who are entering their 2nd Year or above in programs within this category of George Brown College programs.

To be eligible, applicants must satisfy all of the following criteria:

Students must maintain a 3.0 minimum GPA or higher and be registered domestic students, as well as actively involved with their community (college or external). When eligible, certificate awards will be presented as well.
Students enrolled in any year of study of the Certificate, Post-grad program can apply for this award.

For consideration of application, applicants must meet certain criteria:

Student must be an international student with at least a 3.50 GPA, actively involved in both college and external community initiatives.
Academic Area has provided funds for the creation of the Postsecondary Scholarship for International Students – Diploma/Degree program, making the award eligible to students in their second, third or fourth years studying an approved international work/study experience in either diploma or degree programs.

The applicant must meet all of the following criteria:

Student must be an international student with at least a 3.50 GPA and active involvement in both College and external communities (College or external). Scotiabank Bursaries may also apply.
Scotiabank and Scotiabank Bursaries have generously provided $100,000 (100 bursaries at $1,000 each) in bursaries to International students.

The applicant must fulfill the following criteria in order to be successful:

Students enrolled in full-time programs and who demonstrate financial need.
Scotiabank International Partner Entrance Scholarships
George Brown College (GBC) invites newly admitted students in their first year of postsecondary study (diploma, degree or postgraduate certificate programs) at George Brown College to apply for one or more Scotiabank International Partner Entrance Scholarships, available across any post-secondary post-secondary degree or diploma program offered through its academic partner institutions from Caribbean, China, Central/South America or India.

Each academic year, two $5,000 scholarships will be presented.

Qualifications
Be an international student (requiring a valid Canadian Study Permit ), in their first year of full-time postsecondary studies with an outstanding academic record (3.0 cumulative GPA or above).
Woori Education Scholarship candidates who have demonstrated leadership through activities that have made significant contributions to the learning environment or participated in academic or student activities (club meetings, Student Association meetings or volunteer work) deserve consideration for this award.
An international student can receive this scholarship based on academic performance and community involvement. To qualify, an applicant must:

International students requiring a valid Study Permit with two semesters of full-time diploma or degree studies and earning at least an overall GPA of 3.33 will qualify.
Participate in activities that have contributed to other students, their Department/School or the College community

mes Step 2 / Step 3 :LOGIN To apply for George Brown College funding for international students, login into STU-VIEW account. To open Student Awards tab then Click “Apply For Student Awards”.
Please review the Select Aid Year and Period page, paying particular attention to the instructions at the top. When finished reading them, click on Continue at the bottom. This will take you directly to Step 2, Fill out Your Student Profile
Note that your student profile will serve as the place where you apply for College-Wide and Divisional awards.

STEP 3: Submit Applications for Additional Awards
Scroll to select any additional awards for which you may qualify.

Step 4: Review Your Application(s)
Step 5: Verify Status To review the status of your application(s), use:

Start by clicking on the Student Awards tab, selecting View My Student Awards, selecting Continue, noting any status changes and notifying us accordingly. Afterward, visit George Brown College funding page for additional information or applications.
